How we compare filament dryers
We compare temperature ranges, spool capacity and chamber control using manufacturer documentation. We check the Amazon destination and selected variant separately. We have not measured drying performance, energy use, noise or print strength.
A material preset is not proof of suitability for every formulation. Follow the exact filament manufacturer’s instructions. Our shortlist deliberately leaves out high-temperature machines whose current revision or documentation has unresolved conflicts.
The homepage studio scene is an original generated contextual illustration, not a photograph of a listed dryer or a test bench. No product photographs, manufacturer logos or customer review images have been copied.

01SUNLU
FilaDryer S2
One spool, everyday materials- Spool capacity
- 1 standard spool
- Declared temperature
- 35–70°C
Good fit if one spool at a time covers your printing routine and the material calls for no more than 70°C.
Fit & limitations
Check the updated S2 revision and spool dimensions. A 70°C ceiling does not cover every nylon formulation.
02Creality
Space Pi Plus
Two spools together- Spool capacity
- 2 spools
- Declared temperature
- 45–70°C
Good fit if you regularly switch between two spools that can share a drying temperature.
Fit & limitations
Both spools share one temperature environment. Do not confuse Plus with single-spool Space Pi or X4.
03Creality
SpacePi X4
Four spools, separate temperatures- Spool capacity
- 4 spools
- Declared temperature
- 45–85°C
Good fit if you need two temperature zones or your filament instructions call for more than 70°C and no more than 85°C.
Fit & limitations
X4 and X4L have different temperature ceilings. Some engineering filaments need more than 85°C.
